The Council provides strategic advice to the Executive Board on matters relating to the development of the treasury markets. The Council consists of senior executives in the banking and treasury industries and prominent academics.

Terms of Reference

1. To provide advice to the Executive Board on:
   
   

a) the strategic direction of the TMA, taking account of the trends and developments of the treasury markets;

b) the annual work plan of the TMA; and

c) other matters referred by the Executive Board.

2. To help raise the profile and visibility of the TMA.
