Auditing for CPD Compliance 2024

TMA will conduct its CPD audit for 2024 by examining a sample of individual members’ CPD record next year.  If members do not update CPD records in the Individual Member’s Corner by 31 December 2024, they are likely to be audited, and may be asked to supply your CPD records within one month of receiving an audit request.  Failure to comply with the CPD requirements may result in the invalidation of the ECF-TM certification or suspension of individual membership.

E-learning activities

Attending online training courses without interaction with speakers/instructors or viewing video playback of the courses are regarded as e-learning activities.

Self-study activities

Compliance and Documentation of CPD activities

Members are required to retain sufficient documentation supporting their CPD activities and be able to provide for verification on request. Verifiable CPD documentation may include attendance record, completion certificate, registration confirmation by provider, payment receipt, course exam/assessment result, CPD records with your employer, or other means.

Members who are not able to meet the CPD requirements due to retirement, unemployment, illness, disability, maternity leave or other “exceptional circumstance” deemed reasonable for his/her non-compliance of the CPD requirement may submit a written request for TMA’s consideration of CPD exemption. Those requests will be considered and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
