The Treasury Markets Association (TMA) was incorporated through the institutionalisation of the Treasury Markets Forum of Hong Kong and the merger with ACI-The Financial Markets Association of Hong Kong in 2005. Principal functions of the TMA include promoting co-operation and synergy among market practitioners with a view to enhancing professionalism and the overall competitiveness of the treasury markets in Hong Kong, thereby maintaining the role as an international financial centre.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial support to committees, including but not limited to :
- organizing and attending committee meetings and functions
- preparing meeting agendas, papers, and minutes
- Assist in the planning and coordination of outreach activities outside of Hong Kong
- Travel occasionally to Mainland China and work outside of regular office hours, including weekends, as and when needed
- Support other ad-hoc projects and activities assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- A recognized university degree (preferably in business, finance, or related disciplines)
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in secretariat and committee work
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, with strong attention to detail
- A strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility
- Well-organized and self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
